Judge the Poet
* Spontaneous Poetry
* Performance Poetry
* Bespoke Poetry
* Improvisation
JUDGE's show is absolutely unique. He truly is something different.
He takes suggestions from the audience - any words, ideas or concepts they may wish.
He then IMMEDIATELY recites for them a rhyming, enjoyable and understandable poem which links all that they said.
The poems can be funny or serious, depending on the mood and wishes of the audience.
Whatever happens, it is sure to be highly memorable and talked about for a long time to come!
JUDGE's show is enjoyed by young and old. Even people who think they "don't like poems" are amazed and entertained by his unique skills and amusing words.
He must be seen to be believed.
With seventeen years experience performing all around the world, JUDGE is guaranteed to give you a show to remember.
In luxury hotels and restaurants from London to Hong Kong to New Zealand, and in theatres and festivals throughout Britain, Europe, America and Australasia, this unique performer has created magical memories for every kind of audience.
His talents have been sought and enjoyed by, among others, Nelson Mandela, Queen Elizabeth II, King Hussein of Jordan, Bjorn Borg, Cherie Blair and Jackie Stewart.
Some ideas of how his performances can work -
"Mix and mingle" is for 2 or 3 hours and would allow for several rounds with 100 people (and it gets "better" with each round as you establish connections and ideas with the audience).
"Cabaret" can be of any length, but he generally recommends 20-25 mins.
In this he does some "random word" poems, some "themed" poems (including about the occasion or special guest, if desired) and usually end with a poem where he takes at least 10 words from the audience and puts them all in one spontaneous poem!
Some people choose to combine both styles, so he does some "rounds" of "mix and mingle" and then pulls it all together with a shorter "cabaret" (say, 5-10 mins) for everyone.
This is a nice way to conclude a performance and allows the audience to come together - particularly if Judge does a poem about the birthday guest...
