About Journey South

Having tried their luck for many years Andy and Carl Pemberton (Journey South) finally got the recognition they deserved after entering X Factor in 2005.

With Simon Cowell as their mentor, who famously said they are ‘two of the best singers I have ever met', Journey South reached the final of X factor and later went on to sign a record deal with SYCO, part of Sony BMG.

Their first album went straight into the charts at number one and is now double platinum. This success was followed with a 38 date sell out UK tour, playing to over 80,000 people .
