1940s / Swing / Jitterbug Dance

A group of amazing Jiving / Swing / Rock 'n Roll dancers performing a dance that started in New York in the 30s and lives on - and on... fabulously energetic, great to watch and gets those feet tapping!

From one couple to groups of 8 to 10 these are stunning dancers that create an energy and vibe rarely seen in any dancers in the UK.

It is pure excitement, energy and rhythm that takes over when you watch these boys and girls.

Fabulous for corporate events and parties, for themed events, open days and festivals and many more events.

Their dance..

The 'Lindy Hop' became best known as the dance aspect of 'Swing' music (i.e. big bands playing jazz in an 'arranged' style) which emerged in New York in the early 1930's.

It was not really that "new" as like all dances it was a re-working of many previous forms, especially the Charleston, and even after that kept changing.

After a while it was renamed "The Jitterbug-Jive" and later still, when danced to a different type of music in the 1950's, its named changed again to "Rock n Roll".
