Slam DJ Team

Glaswegian production and DJ team Slam have built up a formidable reputation over the past few years.

The legendary pairing have left scorch marks on dance floors worldwide, touring Australia, the USA, Europe, South America and Japan as well as stopping off to headline huge festivals including Time Warp, Glade and Awakenings - it's comes to no surprise that dance music bible Mixmag nominated  the duo as their Greatest Dance Act of All Time poll in 2011.

Known for nurturing the Scottish techno scene with their imprint Soma Records - which has just celebrated its 20th anniversary - they have released music from the likes of Daft Punk, Alex Smoke, Radio Slave and The Black Dog. Along with holding residencies at three of the UK's top clubs (Pressure, Sub Club in Glasgow and Fabric in London), Slam are regular visitors to Beatport Charts.

Their remix of Paperclip People's 'Throw' hit number 5 in the main Beatport Charts, a track which is just prime floor working material that begs to be played at the loudest neighbour annoying volumes as possible.

Their productions have been featured in compilations too many to count, but include Global Underground, Azuli and Ministry of Sound. This summer will see them perform at Berlin's techno temple Berghain, T in the Park (UK), along with two dates scheduled at Space, and Eden in Ibiza this September.
