Detroit Soul have a huge repertoire of classic Motown, Soul and Funk songs, carefully selected to keep your guests on the dancefloor all night.
The band are available to hire for any occasion, from weddings and birthday parties to corporate events and product launches. Unlike many bands there are no backing tracks or pre-recorded music, everything you hear is played live by world class musicians.
Born out of a collective love of Motown and Soul music, Detroit Soul are a highly experienced function band comprising some of the finest soul musicians from around the world.
Masters of their instruments, they bring a fresh feel to classic Soul, Motown and Funk songs. A nine piece band combining two of the UK's finest vocalists, a tight funky rhythm section, explosive brass and smooth four-part vocal harmonies, Detroit Soul deliver scintillating floor-filling hits from the first tune to the last.
Corporate Events
With a wealth of experience in the corporate field, Detroit Soul cater for a wide age range making them the ideal choice for any corporate event. From product launches to conferences to Christmas parties - Detroit Soul will create the perfect atmosphere and ensure all your guests have the time of their lives.
Performance Times
The band's performance times usually consist of two sets of between 45 minutes to 1 hour with a short break in-between, although this may customised to your specific requirements. The band can also provide recorded music for the interval and before/after performance times if required, at no additional charge.
PA (Sound) and Lighting
Detroit Soul provide their own PA System and lighting rig which can be tailored to suit any venue from 10 to 10,000 people, along with professional sound and lighting engineers to ensure everything runs smoothly and sounds great.
All of the equipment is PAT-tested to industry standard Health and Safety Regulations, and the band is covered by £10 million of Public Liability Insurance.
