GROUPER are a professional and dynamic 4 piece contemporary and classic indie rock and pop band featuring an incredible line up of international touring musicians of the highest quality. Grouper play guitar based hits from Travis to U2, Blur to Supergrass, Coldplay to Robbie Williams, The Beatles to The Stones and many more legendary artists and bands.
GROUPER have fast become the first choice for those seeking fresh and entertaining music for their wedding reception, corporate event or party.
They have a wealth of experience, having entertained clients across the UK and Europe at a wide range of venues and high profile corporate events for the last four years.
GROUPER have hand picked an extensive repertoire of rock and pop songs, putting together two ‘live-wire' sets of music to entertain all ages. They faithfully cover songs spanning five decades, from artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, James Brown, Tom Petty, Oasis, Paul Weller, Travis, The Stereophonics, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, U2, Robbie Williams and Jet to name but a few! (See below for a more complete repertoire list) During the breaks between the live sets GROUPER provide mixed party CD's, which they play through their PA system. The vocalist and guitarist are also available to perform an acoustic set earlier in the evening or during dinner if required.
GROUPER features four fantastic musicians who take pride in capturing the spirit and energy of the original artists they are covering. This ensures that you will always hear the classic songs performed to their full effect, often described as ‘just like the real thing'! (Check out their demo songs for the evidence!)
All the musicians have played at the highest level in the music industry, having performed with artists such as: Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), ABC, Go West, Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) and Roger Daltrey (The Who).

TECHNICAL SPEC GROUPER carry their own high quality PA system, which is suitable for most venues up to a capacity of 150 people. Should a larger system be required the band will happily arrange this and can obtain a very competitive price from their suppliers due to the large number of gigs they play each year. This option is often attractive to corporate clients who may prefer to leave arranging some of the technical setup to the band. GROUPER also supply basic stage lighting and can arrange more elaborate systems if required. PREVIOUS CLIENTS and VENUES GROUPER have worked for a number of high profile clients including Pearson Education, NSPCC, The British Army, Citigroup, OXO Tower Restaurant, Pinewood Studios, Warwick University and have played at most of the major London hotels as well as stately homes and castles across the UK. They have performed at Disneyland Paris and recently, at a large private party in Portugal. They regularly play at a number of venues open to the public in the London and Birmingham area, where any potential clients can see them live. |

I booked Grouper for my 40th birthday party, which had a Top of The Pops fancy dress theme.
The band completely surpassed our expectations and got everyone on the dance floor.
Forget your boring old wedding band, they got the whole party rocking with covers from Blur,
U2, Reef, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and more. The whole party was fantastic, but all my guests
commented on how great the band were. I don't want to build them up too much in case they
become impossible to book next time!

I just wanted to let you know how fantastic Grouper were at our wedding on 9th July.
They were so good I don't think I got off the dance floor the whole evening and can hardly
remember speaking to anyone!
They did a great set and all our guests have been telling Alastair and I how brilliant they thought
they were too. They really made our party the best do it could possibly be.

Grouper came and played at my daughter's wedding on the 22nd December at Allerton Castle
in North Yorks. Everyone, including a number of musicians, thought the band was brilliant.
I think it must have been obvious from the number of people who were dancing how well you
all went down with the guests.
The staff at the castle said that you were the most professional musicians that they had worked with.
