Jaspar Corbett

Jaspar has spent 24 years in the Wine Trade and has amassed a wonderful library of stories.  He joined Majestic Wine in 1983 at the age of 18.  During his time with Majestic he took a year out to complete his winemaking training in California.  He departed Majestic in 1989 after selling his stake in the business, he had run the private and corporate wine division.   

Since then he has run a number of wine companies and has worked in Europe, the US and Asia.  Jaspar has even owned and ran a large country pub - possibly the hardest time of his life!  Jaspar is now Chairman of Compass Wines Ltd, a fine wine business that trades fine wines to a customer base of private collectors. 

Jaspar is also the wine expert on the Alan Titchmarsh Show on ITV1.  You can see him every Friday gassing with Alan and suggesting great wines to match Rosemary Schrager's cooking.

Jaspar presents hugely popular group events both in the UK and abroad, most notably in Asia.
