Angus Deayton

The original host of Have I Got News For You, Angus is an excellent corporate Awards Host with dry wit, attention to detail and professionalism.

Angus Deayton made his reputation as the original host of Have I Got News For You, and as Victor Meldrew's long-suffering neighbour in One Foot in the Grave.

Angus launched his career in the HeeBeeGeeBees, performing disco parodies written by a young Richard Curtis. He graduated to the Radio Four series Radio Active, and remained on the team when it made a successful transfer to television as KYTV. Angus also appeared in Rowan Atkinson's Stage Show.

Since parting company with Have I Got News For You, Angus has presented Hell's Kitchen and numerous specials for Comic and Sports Relief. He has also fronted Bognor or Bust, Before They Were Famous, Posh and Becks - The Reign in Spain, and Would I Lie To You? Acting credits include Nighty Night, with Julia Davis.

Angus has been honoured at the British Comedy Awards, and voted Best Comedy Performer by the British Press Guild.
