Charles Hazlewood

One of the most successful musicians of his generation and not just a charismatic speaker and host, but also has a fabulous musical Team Building exercise.

Charles Hazlewood is one of the most successful musicians of his generation and was described by the Daily Telegraph as 'the face of BBC Classical music'.

He combines his role as a globe-trotting conductor with high-profile TV and radio broadcasts. He currently appears regularly on Radio 2 (THE CHARLES HAZLEWOOD SHOW), Radio 3 (DISCOVERING MUSIC), BBC2 (landmark documentaries on TCHAIKOVSKY, MOZART and BEETHOVEN) and BBC 4 (THE PROMS) and was one of the judges for CLASSICAL STAR on BBC2. He is Music Director of EXCELLENT DEVICE and its sister orchestra, the period instrument group HARMONIEBAND. He is also Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC CONCERT ORCHESTRA. Charles's genre-busting approach and passion for making musical accessible to the widest possible public underpins all his work, both as a musician and a communicator.

Charles presented the Proms season over the summer and conducted his own Prom with BBC Concert Orchestra on 9th August. He is currently working on a new landmark project for BBC2 on the birth of British Music which will be on our screens early in the new year. Charles will also be judging the Mercury Music Prize this year.

Charlie is a charismatic and engaging speaker. He hosts a motivational and highly interactive presentation, which draws metaphors between a working orchestra and a typical business environment.

Not only all of the above but Charlie is a really excellent presenter and great fun to work with.
