Marverine Cole

Marverine Cole is a highly experienced journalist & presenter, having amassed hundreds of broadcasting hours of live, rolling TV news with Sky News in London. She is currently working on a BBC Radio 4 documentary commission about female gambling addicts, due for broadcast in 2012. She will be co-producing and presenting the half-hour feature.

Marverine honed her journalist skills with BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Midlands Today, ITV Central News and BBC Radio WM as a Producer, Reporter and Presenter. She now runs her own corporate video production company. 

Marverine's passion for beer knows no bounds as she throws beer appreciation parties for women nationwide, and has fast risen to become one of Britain's leading female independent beer writers under the guise of Beer Beauty (www.beerbeauty.co.uk).

Marverine's beer odyssey has led her to produce a documentary for BBC Inside Out about women and beer, and throw a party especially for Oz Clarke & Hugh Dennis's recent BBC2 drinks series 'Oz & Hugh Raise The Bar'. She's a regular commentator on the beer and pub industry, alcoholism and binge-drinking. She's currently developing TV and radio ideas about beer's place in society.
