If knowledge is king then sureley Milfredo at the very least, must be prince.
The term "back in the day " is one all to easily banded these days, but this guy plied his trade in that very era.
A trip to Malia in 1985, a chance meeting with Kool Herc, some might say he stalked him, a free mix tape from the very same, & the boy was hooked

Back in the UK he set himself up with 2 belt drive turntables a beaten up mixer, James Brown vinyl & a handfull of Hip Hop imports....... Dj Milf was born.

At the tender age of 16 armed with a fake ID, Milf bagged residences in Bristol & Cheltenham moving with the likes of Smith & Mighty and the Wild Bunch, later to become, Massive Attack.

The early 90's saw Britpop rise to the fore & Milf was in demand from a group of friends with a few tunes, plenty of enthusiasm but more importantly, shed loads of attitude. Milf brought the breaks and samples and EMF were born.

A year later the very same were sat on top of the US and UK album chart with a number 1 single in no less than 21 countries.

Residencies followed at Amnesia Ibiza, Limelight in NYC, Whisky a-go-go in Los Angeles, Zoom in Sydney and the Fridge in London.

His globe trotting culminated with him winning the best newcomer at the DMC DJ awards alongside heavyweights of the day, such as Paul Okenfold & Carl Cox.

The Rave scene was bubbling & Milf embraced it with open arms. Under his alter ego DJ YOLK, he releasied arguably one of the most sought after tunes of the era, the "Sunny Side UP E.P" on his own Ruff Beat label, This Rave clasic which included the "Aha" sampling "Bish Bosh" still changes hands for substantial sums, even today.

The noughties came & Funky House rolled into Miami, Milfredo (aka) the Angry Mexican Dj rolled out another party banger in the shape of I like it Funky which was picked up for EA's classic Beach life video game.

The past decade has seen Milf remix & produce for the likes of Ian Brown, Beyonce, Shakira, The Sugababes & David Bowie

In 2015 Milfredo penned & produced a track for a lost & found Michael Hutchence vocal which reached number 10 in the Australian charts.

He also dj'd for the perfectionist that was James Brown on his last UK tour, no pressure.

He has been spinning for likes of Vanity Fair, Bacardi, Red Bull, the Hard Rock Cafe & at Island Records founder, Chris Blackwell's Golden Eye in Jamaica, with a guest list including Bono, David Bowie, Mark Ronson & Samuel L Jackson.

Milf's USP has always been his ability to create a party vibe with a melting pot of styles & eras.

From House to Hip Hop, Rock to RnB, the one thing you can guarantee is... The party goes off.

Often riding gunshot & whipping the crowd into a spin is his MC & big man Nugzta. Trust us when we tell you he knows how to parteeeeee.

If you are not, dancing, smiling or both, you need to check ya pulse.

Alway a smile on their faces, the enthusiasm is unbounded.
