German Comedy Ambassador To The UK.

Comedian Henning Wehn is the (unofficial) German Comedy Ambassador to the United Kingdom. This is not the easiest of jobs because Germans allegedly do not have a sense of humour. Henning does not find that very funny.

He took office in October 2003 after watching an open mic night that left him convinced that he wouldn’t be all that much worse.

Wehn has been performing as the self-styled ‘German Comedy Ambassador’ ever since.

His numerous television appearances include 8 Out of 10 cats, Would I Lie To You, Have I Got News For You, QI, Ths Week and Ten O'Clock Live. Regular radio appearances include Radio 5 Live's Fighting talk, Radio 4's The News Quiz, The Now Show (Radio 4), The Unbelievable Truth (Radio 4) & Henning Knows Best (BBC Radio 2)

Please note when booking a Comedian through Classique...

Audience: At least 90% of the audience to be seated

Stage: A raised area is required. The performance will not take place 'in the round'

Other: Please note Comedians only very rarely, if ever, perform at weddings (sorry), their main performances are TV, on tour and at corporate events after dinner.

Virtual: Some comedians are now able to offer either a live or pre-recorded set for clients.

Unfortunately we are unable to request autographs or personal Meet & Greets (unless part of a Classique event and pre-arranged) and we suggest contacting the artist's own websites or fan sites. Apologies, we are also not able to ask for Video calls / personal birthday requests / free / gratis / charity / reduced fee performances from any of the artists – again please contact your chosen artist through their own websites.
We are however very happy to pass on your thanks to any artist that has appeared at your event arranged and organised by Classique.

The majority of prices will be plus vat at the current UK rate of 20%.
