Melvin, alongside Rickie Haywood-Williams, hosts The Kiss Breakfast Show. Their on-air chemistry and entertaining mockery is a hit with the Kiss audience. They won Silver at The Sony Radio Awards in 2009 and Gold in 2012 within the most prestigious category, The Breakfast Show Award.

In July 2011 Rickie & Melvin hosted Pop Up Pop Quiz across 4Music and T4 on Channel 4.

Rickie & Melvin have recently presented the UKHot40 Big Beats Chart on Kiss TV & Box TV.

They are know for their work on MTV Digs broadcast on MTV One, Monday to Saturday and MTV Music Junkie - a live studio music show.

Melvin presented at The BRIT Awards 2010 alongside Rickie, and also presented the Baftas alongside Kimberly Walsh both for MTV One.

In 2010, Rickie & Melvin also presented the backstage online footage for Sky 1′s 'Must Be The Music'.

Melvin has always had a passion for new music and presented a show for Channel 4/4Music called Intros. Introducing the Channel 4 audience to 27 different artists from Florence and The Machine to Taio Cruz.

Early mornings are not alien to Melvin - as a staple for the CBBC audience, Melvin was presenting Swap Shop with Basil Brush in 2008 on Saturday mornings, alongside his days of playing various characters for the long running and BAFTA award winning Dick and Dom in the Bungalow. In fact, CBBC's spin off show "Slammer", which also won a BAFTA in 2007, would not have been complete without Melvin's theatrical talents as a desperate inmate trying to escape.

Melvin studied media and drama at A-Level and gained a Media Performance and Radio degree from university, where he met comrade Rickie. He has not strayed far from his media roots and together Rickie and Melvin play an integral part in today's young urban scene. Through their online presence with Twitter, Facebook and Myspace they promote roof raising events, talking points and projects.

Melvin has taught dance and drama to kids with behavioral issues and also worked at a community centre for young people in London.

A child actor, Melvin performed in a number of theatre productions and even gave speeches to governors for youth council.

Both Rickie & Melvin have featured in the Noel Clarke film Storage 24 and Sony Pictures Battle Of The Year (3D) starring Josh Holloway and Chris Brown.

Both Rickie & Melvin are now Prince's Trust Ambassadors which they are very proud to be involved with helping young adults in life.

Rickie and Melvin work very closely with Rays of Sunshine a charity who grant wishes for children with serious or life-limiting illnesses between the ages of 3-18, across the United Kingdom. In 2012 Melvin hosted a concert for Rays or Sunshine at the Royal Albert Hall along side Rochelle of The Saturdays.

Melvin also ran the London Marathon in 2012 for Team PB The Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer Charity. He ran with the Olympic Flame in Hackney East London and Rickie and Melvin were also lucky to host Women's Basketball for The London 2012 Olympics.
