Jim is amazingly entertaining and one of our favourite performers.  Very funny, great at juggling, unicycling, stiltwalking and a wonderful addition to events outdoor or indoor.

About Jim

Jim Millar is a circus performer and tutor in Birmingham. He first got interested in circus performing while at drama school in Belfast.  Belfast Community Circus was just starting up and, after his tutors introduced circus skills as part of the curriculum, he decided to attend.

Jim has worked in traditional big tops and caravan circuses, but now also works in schools and for local councils.  He says that opportunities for circus performers aren't restricted to the ring: "I have worked for various companies at publicity events for BMW, Coca-Cola and Morgan Stanley."

Jim says "It's the best job in the world. And the best thing is meeting lots of different people and working on events that people are guaranteed to enjoy, and I never stop learning new tricks."
