Prince Charles (Charles Haslett)
The official double for Prince Charles at his 50th birthday celebration held at the Lyceum Theatre, London - taking his place in the Royal Box whilst HRH role-played on stage.
Charles has impersonated HRH Prince Charles internationally since 1994.
The most successful double to not only look authentic (complete with bald patch!) but also deliver an accurate voice. This impersonation is widely used to deliver speeches, present awards and generally bring a 'Royal' presence to any event such as corporate and private functions, exhibitions and conferences, product launches and promotions.
Charles is an Equity member and available worldwide for films, television, radio, chat-shows, advertising and voice-overs.
UK TV Credits include: The Big Breakfast, Kilroy, The Time The Place, Lorraine Live.
International TV appearances in Hong Kong, Belgium, Spain, Malta and Germany.
British born Charles not only shares the same name as the Prince of Wales but he is also similar in stature and height. His attention to detail in clothing and mannerisms makes Charles's performance of HRH very believable.
Exchange the suit for a waiter's jacket, add a moustache and he becomes the supreme double of Manuel from Fawlty Towers, misunderstanding English and creating comedy situations involving the Siberian Hamster!
Change the moustache and replace the waiter's jacket with the trademark hat and coat, he becomes a highly adept impersonator of Peter Sellers as "Inspector Clouseau." Good enough to be included in the book "Sellers on Sellers" by Mike Sellers and Gary Morcambe.
Charles's vocal mimicry complements his visual detail to all characters. His comic brain and comedic antics makes the characters work in any given situation.
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. The office move went smoothly but I have been very busy over the last few weeks. I was hoping you might be able to pass on my thanks to all our VIP Celebs - Elizabeth Richard as 'The Queen', Charles Haslett as Prince Charles, Caroline Bernstein as Cherie Blair, Caroline Bernstein as Sharon Osbourne, (a quick change!), Andy Harmer as David Beckham and Gill Penny as Victoria Beckham that performed on the day - all our guests thought they were really quite amazing and the whole day went very well.
If you would like to forward on the email below to the celebs that would be appreciated.
Thank you for your hard work leading up to the day and if we need future "stars" I will be in contact.
Thank you so much for helping us make our Grand Opening Party a success! Without your assistance the day would not have been so special for us.
