Gary McCausland
Gary McCausland is the presenter of Five's flagship property programme How To Be A Property Developer; BBC1s brand new series, Axe The Agent? and author of best-selling book, How to Make Money From Property.
Straight-talking, with an intuitive knowledge of the property market second-to-none, Gary McCausland is himself a successful property developer and is regularly called upon as an expert commentator appearing on BBC News, Newsnight, the Tonight programme, Sky and Five News.
Gary was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and grew up in a town called Dungannon throughout the troubles in the 70s and 80s. He is the eldest of seven siblings, two girls and five boys.
After around ten years on the corporate ladder, buying & selling literally hundreds of properties across the world, it was time to fulfill his own ambition and in 2002 Gary founded The Richland Group.
Since then, The Richland Group, has taken control of the purchasing, designing, building and selling hundreds of residential and commercial properties. New developments are ongoing, and his company's profile and success continues to grow, having recently expanded into hotels, finance and the leisure industry.
Whilst growing his property company, Gary, along with his brother Dezzi, founded 'The Kingly Club' in Soho, London. An exclusive members bar which has been voted 'Bar of the Year 2004, 2005 and 2006' at the London Bar & Club awards hosted and televised at the Park Lane Hilton Hotel.
Gary is currently filming two brand new series for the Discovery Channel and BBC1.
