Ben Brown

Ben Brown is the presenter of the peak time evening news programme on BBC News 24 Weekdays 6.30-10pm with Emily Maitlis.

Previous to this Ben spent some twenty years on the road as one of the BBC's most Senior Foreign Reporters. He continues to travel extensively, presenting for BBC news from abroad on the big stories.

Ben was educated at Keble College Oxford, where he took a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics; and University College Cardiff, where he did a diploma in Journalism Studies.

He has written a book on the first Gulf War, called All Necessary Means and is currently writing a novel about reporters on the road.
