Union J are JJ, George Shelley, Josh Cuthbert, Jaymi Hensley from Newmarket, Bristol, Ascot and Luton. Or as they put it: “We’re four normal down to earth guys who love to sing.”

Like some of their pop  counterparts, Union J were brought  together by X Factor. Jaymi, Josh  Cuthbert and JJ Hamblett were Triple J before the show made the  decision to add George Shelley, giving us Union J.

The lads showcased their trademark heavenly harmonies and smoking good looks in a performance after performance. From the perfect pop of “I’ll Be There” by The Jackson Five to “Beneath You’re Beautiful” by Emeli Sande and Labrinth (accompanied by a gospel choir in shimmering pyro extravaganza) – these boys left the audience begging for more..

Union J is their first album, released in October 2013 and debuted at number six on the UK Albums Chart.

Carry You was released as the album's first single in June 2013 and reached No 6 in the UK, marking the group's first top 10 track.

In September 2013, the band confirmed their second single would be Beautiful Life. It was released on 21 October, preceding the release of their debut studio-album by one week. The third single was Loving You Is Easy.
