Aled Haydn Jones was part of the Chris Moyles Show on Radio 1 for 8 years, and you can now hear Aled on The Surgery every Sunday from 21.00-22.00.

Aled Haydn Jones is a Welsh radio producer and presenter, who started his radio career at the age of just 14!

After joining the BBC in 1999, Aled worked as a broadcast assistant on the Radio 1 Roadshow and then later became part of the launch team for Radio 1's 'One Big Sunday'.

From 2004-2012 Aled was the producer of The Chris Moyles Breakfast Show. Aled currently presents Radio 1's Surgery on a Sunday night. As of 2006, Aled also helps choose the music that goes on Radio 1's playlist.

In 2006 Aled swam a mile for sport relief and raised nearly £69,000. He then appeared as a contestant in the BBC series 'Celebrity Scissorhands' in aid of Children In Need.

Aled has also made a number of TV appearances, which includes being a judge on the S4C Welsh talent show Wawffactor, and has also appeared on Newsnight, Big Brothers Little Brother, and has been a guest presenter on Top of the Pops.

In March 2011 Aled presented the ITV2 show OMG with Peaches Geldof, and in November 2011 was a panelist on 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here... Now' for one week giving his views on life in the camp.
