The Scottish New Wave group consisted of Kevin Patterson (vocals), Eddie Jordan (keyboards), Chic Medley (guitar), Graham McGregor (bass guitar) and Mike Ogletree (drums and percussion), a former member of Simple Minds and Café Jacques.

Before they began Fiction Factory, Patterson, Jordan and Medley played in skinhead ska band The Rude Boys, later shortened to The RB’s.

The band’s first album Throw the Warped Wheel Out was released in 1984. The group disbanded in 1987 after the release of their second album Another Story, however their music has lived on, and (Feels Like) Heaven, written by Patterson and Jordan, has become an enduring favourite over many years.

The group reformed for a special Rewind Festival performance in 2011, and in 2016 the Manic Street Preachers covered (Feels Like) Heaven for the album BBC Radio 2 Sounds of the 80's, Volume 2. In 2019 (Feels Like) Heaven was used in Netflix’s ‘The Umbrella Academy’. Fiction Factory will also be appearing on BBC 1’s The One Show in early 2020.

Scottish drummer and guitarist, Mike Ogletree, now lives and works in the USA, but will be returning to Scotland to re-join his fellow artists for the Dundee 80’s concert, and to revive Fiction Factory’s repertoire of eclectic New Wave pop.

Please contact us for any ideas for your event and we will work with you, always understanding time constraints and budgets.

Unfortunately we are unable to request autographs or personal Meet & Greets (unless part of a Classique event and pre-arranged) and we suggest contacting the artist's own websites or fan sites. Apologies, we are also not able to ask for Video calls / personal birthday requests / free / gratis / charity / reduced fee performances from any of the artists – again please contact your chosen artist through their own websites.
We are however very happy to pass on your thanks to any artist that has appeared at your event arranged and organised by Classique.

The majority of prices will be plus vat at the current UK rate of 20%.
