Hercules Smith is a South African born singer, classically trained as a tenore spinto. An incredible voice and a likeable personality, Hercules is a top-notch entertainer who is equally adept at entertaining corporate events as he is at public appearances. Belting out signature classics like ‘I Believe’, ‘Everytime I Look at You’, ‘Nella Fantasia’, ‘Unchained Melody’, ‘When You Say You Love Me’ and The Godfather theme song ‘Parla Piu Piano’, Hercules has a wide repertoire of crossover hits to impress guests of any event.

Hercules is widely recognised as a tenore spinto. Tenore spintos are renowned for their ability to ride the line between dramatic and lyric tenors. These amazing operatic singers are capable of handling large musical climaxes in opera and cutting through the wall of sound supplied by a full orchestra.

This talented solo singer has seen international acclaim, beginning with his victory in the 2012 European Voice competition. 2014 saw him return to his native South Africa to appear on the popular music television show Noot vir Noot. In the same year, Hercules had the honour of performing the Argentine national anthem at the Castle Lager Championship Rugbymatch between England and Argentina. This match and Hercules’ performance were even broadcast on Sky Sports.

In the UK, Hercules most notably wowed judges and fans alike on BBC One’s Let It Shine. The talent show started in 2017, looks to find amazing singers to form The Band, a stage musical that will cover the songs of British pop sensation, Take That. The series was widely popular and star-studded with Graham Norton and Mel Giedroyc presenting the show. Celebrities also made up the judges’ tables with the likes of Gary Barlow, Dannii Minogue, Martin Kemp, Amber Riley, Ricki Lake, Lulu, Ashley Roberts, and Peter Kay. Hercules impressed the judges with an emphatic performance of ‘Iris’ by the Goo Goo Dolls while his daughter watched proudly from the audience.
