Mercury Prize, MOBO Award and Brit Award nominee soul songstress Laura Mvula has been dubbed “the new Adele”, or “Nina Simone sings the Beach Boys”. She is well known for her unusual mix of innovative, atmospheric mix of R & B, jazz, classical and pop, and striking persona.

Her critically acclaimed debut album “Sing to the Moon” peaked at number 9 in the UK and garnered her a Mercury Prize nomination and MOBO Award in the category of Best Female Act and Best R & B of Soul Artists.

Applauded by the late Prince, who loved her single “Green Garden” from album “The Dreaming Room” and reportedly listened to her music before going on stage and wanted her to support him in the UK. 

Another fan, legendary R & B producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers, complimented her on her music when they met on the red carpet at the Brit Awards, and they collaborated together on single “Overcome”.

The multi-talented star has recently been invited to write the music for the new production of “Anthony and Cleopatra” for the RSC.

Apologies, we are also not able to ask for Video calls / personal birthday requests / free / gratis / charity / reduced fee performances from any of the artists – again please contact your chosen artist through their own websites.
We are however very happy to pass on your thanks to any artist that has appeared at your event arranged and organised by Classique.

The majority of prices will be plus vat at the current UK rate of 20%.
