Clean Bandit are a UK chart-topping, electronic musical trio from London.

The group are a classico-electronical collective.  Their unique take on dance music sees beats collide with classical, where Baroque meets house and pop. Classing themselves as an 'electroquartet', and featuring a string of guest vocalists, they have been described as the new Disclosure with a chamberpop bent.

Clean Bandit were one of the biggest breakthrough successes in the UK and Europe in 2014 and the story is quickly replicating itself in the US and around the world.

Their global hit single ‘Rather Be’, which was the biggest-selling single by a UK act in 2014, hit #1 on the iTunes single chart in over 25 countries upon release in June and has now achieved triple platinum certification in the UK, as well as double platinum sales in the US. This helped contribute to a total of 11 million single sales worldwide in 2014 on all releases more than any other British act, including One Direction.

Furthermore, ‘Rather Be’ spent a staggering eight weeks at #1 on the global Spotify chart, peaking at #1 on Shazam in the US, and has since become the most Shazammed track in history of the service, with over 15 billion tags!

The band released their UK top 3 album New Eyes in June 2014 and as well as the international chart success of Rather Be, Clean Bandit have also secured top 5 releases with the singles ‘Extraordinary’ (#5 UK singles chart), ‘Real Love’ (#2 UK singles chart & official German chart; Platinum UK singles sales certification) and ‘Stronger’ (#4 UK singles chart).

Tears ft. Louisa Johnson was the first single to be released from the band’s upcoming second album. Released through Atlantic in 2016, the track reached #5 in the UK singles chart and paved the way for what is certain to be yet another string of successful hits.

Clean Bandit are: Jack Patterson (bass/sax/deck), Luke Patterson (drums) and Grace Chatto (cello/key/synth).

2018 - Clean Bandit  landed their 4th UK No.1 single with “Solo” feat. Demi Lovato. The track, which has exceeded 100 million streams date, marks the trio’s seventh consecutive UK Top 5 single – this is more than Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris + more – and their 9th UK Top 5 to date!

In the UK, Clean Bandit have the most consecutive Top 5 records, from any artist, since Girls Aloud in 2005; the same amount of No.1’s as Justin Timberlake, One Direction and Lady Gaga; and have secured more Top 5 records than Taylor Swift.
