Three times Grammy Award winning Cuban superstar Gloria Estefan is perhaps best known for her worldwide success as the lead singer in the group Miami Sound Machine, from the late 70’s to 1989, with signature songs such as “Conga”, and “Rhythm is Going to Get You” . She has sold around 115 million records, including 31.5 million in the U.S. alone. With her musician Miami Sound Machine band leader/husband, Emilio, she has since achieved even more success as a Broadway producer and is recognised as one of the most prolific singer/songwriters of any generation.

For Latin American fans, Miami Sound Machine was unique – the first band that played state-of-the-art American pop rock. 

Their first North American hit “Dr Beat” was from the band's first English album, Eyes of Innocence (1984). Dance number "Conga" became the first single to peak in Billboard's pop, dance, black and Latin charts at the same time. In 1985 the album Primitive Love, set off a string of hit singles. "Bad Boys" and "Words Get in the Way" made their way onto Billboard's Top 10 pop chart. Extensive tours, concerts in 40,000-seat stadiums and music videos on MTV and VH-1 made the Miami Sound Machine a leading U.S. band.

We are however very happy to pass on your thanks to any artist that has appeared at your event arranged and organised by Classique.

The majority of prices will be plus vat at the current UK rate of 20%.
